Republican small artillery and field guns pound the ancient Fortress of the Alcazar. Hand grenades are lobbed over rooftops. Various explosions. Various shots of troops moving forwards under fire. Troops fire from behind a sandbag barricade.
Intertitle reads: "Barselo, Commander of the Republican Forces, supervises the attack." Barselo, accompanied by Republican troops, inspects the siege area.
