In Paris, France, we see the largest religious sculpture in the world being worked on by sculptor Monsieur Serraz and his assistants. He works from a scale model of the Madonna and Child. The finished statue will be 175 ft high and will stand on a hill overlooking the Rhone Valley.

In the picturesque village of Gingnese near Lake Maggiore in Italy we see a shop where umbrellas and parasols are made and sold. C/Us of umbrella handles. A woman in the shop puts up a parasol (she seems to be in Victorian dress).

In Cardiff, Wales, we see inventor Mr Johns putting a knife through an unpuncturable bicycle tyre. He rides the bike over a piece of wood with nails sticking out of it and still it survives! Mr Johns rides along a road on his bike with sidecar. A dog sits on the sidecar cover.
