The service was inaugurated in May 1935. It ran between King's Cross in London, and Leeds.
The carriage was called the "LNER Pathe Cinema Car".
"Mr J H Thomas" was a trade union leader and later a Labour politician.
Thanks for this. Any clips with an "LNER" in the description that doesn't relate to railways would have been produced for a carriage such as this.
