Delegates applaud as Churchill makes speech. Natural sound as Churchill speaks of people saying if a Conservative government was elected there would be war - "Churchill the war-monger would plunge us into war". He says "on the contrary, there is a general feeling in the world that, on the whole, the danger of war has receded since we became responsible". He holds up a little lion trophy, urging them to march forward like sturdy lions, jaunty lions, unconquerable lions. Loud applause and standing ovation from the gathering.
