What a great piece of footage, pure nostalgia for me and the many Southall school kids who learnt to swim there whilst perfecting the skill of survival in sub zero temperatures! It was a fantastic place to have on your doorstep, moreso during the summer holidays, we'd be over there from dawn to dusk. Such a shame its value wasn't seen, open air lidos are a real treat now and that could have been a little goldmine. Bring back the days of Middlesex County Council and decent public services|!
