    Titles read: "CAVE FAMILY GETS HOUSE AT LAST".

    Wolverley, near Kidderminster.

    General view of a cave house where the Smith family live. Mrs Smith is seen on the roof, sweeping. The Smith children, two boys and one girl, make their way up path towards the cave with a parcel, pan with them as they go inside. Mrs Smith takes a kettle from the paraffin stove and walks over to pour water into a bowl.

    Mrs Smith looks at the front of the nearby new house which she will be moving into soon. She talks to Lily Hughes in the doorway of Lily's new council house. Lily used to live in the cave beneath the Smiths. M/S of the cave beneath the Smith's cave.

    C/U of the window with tattered curtains and no glass. Mrs. Smith walking from left to right of picture towards cave carrying oil can. Interior of Mrs Smith's bedroom. She walks into the room and starts to make her bed, camera pans to the ceiling.

    In the living room, the children are decorating their Christmas tree; other decorations hang around the room. Mrs Smith hands the children their presents from the tree. Annette opens her present which is a doll, pan up to her face. Mrs Smith and the children pulling Christmas crackers.
