Titles read: "Caught By The Camera".

    Various locations of events.

Various shots of a model motor boat built by Mr G Hillman. He shows how the boat comes apart in the middle for easy transportation. Mr Hillman stands in a lake up to his knees (getting his trousers completely soaked - at least he still has his hat on!) and starts up the motor. The boat starts off and travels across the lake at about 20 miles an hour. A crowd of children and adults watch. (Could be in Hyde Park.)

In the United States of America we see a new contraption being demonstrated that can help put out fires on a burning pier. A device with several nozzles is attached to a hose pipe, and sprays water in all directions. It is floated under a pier as numerous men in fedora hats and smoking cigars watch. Brief shot of a huge fire on an unidentified pier.

At a fair in the United States of America we see an odd kind of stunt for the entertainment of the crowd. Two steam engines are started up at opposite ends of a railway track, slowly move towards each other, then hurtle into a headlong crash. Interesting shots at the beginning of a woman driving one of the trains, and jumping out and over a wall as the train picks up speed.
