    French Army General Noël Édouard, vicomte de Curières de Castelnau gives decoration to elderly veteran at outdoor ceremony, watched by crowd standing in background. General de Castelnau touches man's shoulders with his sword, then pins medal on him & kisses his cheeks. The unidentified veteran already wore several other medals.
