    Mostly Prince Edward, Prince of Wales (future Edward VIII & Duke of Windsor) visiting various countries, and at various events.

    Shot from c.3' higher of orchestra conductor at work; glimpse at right of violinist's arm. Crowd in front of small house on rainy day.

    Title - 'South America - The Argentine'. Prince of Wales in Argentina (1925?) Prince (in Army dress uniform including busby - maybe Welsh Guards uniform?) on ship's deck; talking with a few men (Argentine VIPs?). Prince and man (possibly President Marcelo de Alvear?) entering car. Various shots of military parade. Prince poses with same man & others.

    Title - 'In France - St. Cyr. A tribute to those who made the great sacrifice'.
    Prince attends World War One memorial ceremony. He inspects French soldiers / veterans; stopping to talk with blind veteran. MS as he places large wreath on monument; then steps back & salutes; row of cameramen & photographers recording event behind.

    MS fade in to scenic shot of sun shining through clouds. Title - 'Land of my fathers - Carnarvon Castle'. Good establishing shots of the 13th century Carnarvon Castle (also spelled Caernarfon) in Wales: seen across water; then closer shot showing part of castle.

    Title - 'The Investiture of the Prince at the Castle in 1911'. Pan wide shot inside castle walls; many spectators on ground level & on balconies; towers; etc.; dais in centre with striped canopy.

    Title - 'Our gallant Prince in many roles - as a cinematographer'. Starts with cartoon drawing itself via stop-motion; a caricature of Prince of Wales with film camera; this replaced by real footage of Prince filming with hand-cranked camera.

    Title - 'As sailor'. Prince at Royal Navy event; reviewing Royal Marines (?). Prince riding in military display.
    Title - 'As soldier'. MS troops riding past.
    Title - 'Taking the salute at the march past of his own regiment, the 17th Lancers'. (title frame for this has 17th's Death or Glory emblem with skull). Various shots Prince seated on horse taking the salute as his regiment the 17th Lancers ride past.

    Title - 'As civilian': People exit building as crowd watches. Prince & man in ermine-trimmed robe descend wide steps to waiting car; they drive away.

    Title - 'As sportsman'. Prince & c. 20 men stroll near race track. 'At cricket' Prince meeting cricketers at a match. Title - 'As point-to-point rider no keener man 'between the flags''. MS Prince on horse. Wide shot Prince's horse & others jumping hedges. After race; horse walking (Prince still up). Then Prince carrying saddle (not very clear).

    Title - 'In the hunting field - a lover of a good horse and a gallant gentleman over the stiffest country'. Next; more horse scenes: Prince at fox hunt; shots of him & others on horses before hunt.

    Title - 'As traveller. North America in USA'. MS Prince in USA; leaving a house along with several other young men. In garden; by artistic sort of sundial. CU Prince smoking and using cigarette holder.

    Title - 'Tour across Canada of the Prince of Wales. Part 5. Capt. May in flying machine accompanies the Royal Train to Edmonton, Alberta'. MS conductor in foreground looking out of window of the Royal Train & waving; aeroplane swoops down to fly alongside train for a few seconds - pilot is Captain May.

    Title - 'Several people waiting at the CPR Station, Edmonton'. Shot from high of Prince's car driving through big crowd in Edmonton; Alberta; people climb on top of billboards to get a glimpse. Next; shot of crowd scattered & hurrying to left; children & some adults running; others walking; in background crowd scurry around parked cars. Prince with military & civilian VIPs in foreground; rows of soldiers face them; Army officers walking about; crowd at right. Closer shot Prince & VIPs.

    Title - 'A few more people waiting at Parliament Buildings for arrival of the Prince'. Another event; at Parliament Buildings: looking downwards between pillars VIPs on platform; huge crowd in background. Interior shot of Prince meeting Alberta government representatives. Same people walking inside building.

    Title - 'Difficulties in holding back the crowds'. Good crowd control scenes; shot from just over crowd pushing; surging forward; soldiers unable to hold them back. Mounted police get into action but people are still getting around them (or else they're herding them around).

    Title - 'Leaving Parliament Buildings Edmonton'. Prince & Governor (?) get into car to leave Parliament; Prince waves at people around.

    Title - 'His Royal Highness walks through crowded streets to lay cornerstone of the Great War Veterans' Memorial Hall'. People make room for Prince etc. to walk through very crowded street; then crowd closes behind them. Cornerstone ceremony of Great War Veterans' Memorial Hall. Prince smiling on platform; he has just spread mortar; men with him help to position cornerstone being lowered on a chain.

    Title - 'At the Ball Park, the Prince poses with both teams and pitches the first ball'.

    MS baseball park; Prince Edward & others walk past stands. Excited spectators waving; pan left; baseball player waving in front of crowded bleachers. Shots of HRH meeting both baseball teams. MS as HRH throws out first ball.

    Title - 'Prince of Wales arrives at Calgary, Alberta, and reviews War Veterans'. MS as soldier sits petting a dog; banner above 'We Disabled Veterans Welcome Our Fighting Prince'. Shot from high in stands looking down to soldiers lined up on field.

    Title - 'Is presented with Address by Imperial Order Daughters of the Empire, enclosed in ram's horn'. HRH is presented with ram's horn & scroll tied with ribbon by man. CU of it. MS crowd waving.

    Title - 'His Royal Highness attends Church'. HRH & party leaving church (but can't see that building is church). Title - 'Marks his visit in High River, Alberta, by planting a tree'. Prince at tree planting ceremony in High River; Alberta.

    Title - 'General view of the Canadian Pacific Hotel and surroundings at Banff'. Iris in wide shot Canadian Pacific Hotel near Banff; in mountain valley. More scenic shots of big hotel at foot of mountains. Title - 'Arrives at Banff, Alberta, the "Heart of the Rocky Mountains"'. MS as Prince Edward rides in car; followed by Native Americans riding horses.

    Title - 'The Guard of Honour'. Pan on small crowd posing in long row; on horses or standing; nearly all are Indians (tribe unidentified); some wear magnificent traditional feather head-dresses. Title - 'The Prince addressing Indians who have made him a chief with name "Morning Star"'. Prince on little platform; addressing Indians. Title - 'Is presented with Indian suit and thanks Indians'. Man hands up entire suit of Native clothing to HRH. Officials lead cheer. Prince Edward speaks; wearing feather head-dress. Row of Native American men on horses. MS 3 of the men.

    Title - 'An Indian pow-wow and dance'. Pan on Native American men; some in traditional clothing & beautiful feather head-dresses; playing drums; others dance while more stand watching. Closer shot: line of men dance past; weaving among others standing still; some carry weapons such as bow & arrows; spears. Native women & men dance in row; moving sideways. Native man shakes hands with Prince Edward who stands on platform.

    Title - 'The Squaws were interesting spectators - Squaws Race'. Group of Indian women & children. Women's horse race: start & shot of horses galloping round curve.

    Title - 'View of Banff Springs Hotel, and surrounding mountains'. Next; shot of snow-capped mountains; pan down to swimming pool at Banff Springs Hotel. Various shots family playing in pool; mother teaches girl to swim & father swims while carrying smaller daughter. Mum with child on shoulders walks out on diving board & falls forward; then Dad dives. Other women & children walking alongside pool; they are heavily dressed in stockings; long dresses etc.

    Title - 'The Prince leaving Banff Hotel for a game of golf'.

    MS as he gets in car with others and it drives off.

    Title - 'Glimpse of Lake Louise, the "Gem of the Canadian Rockies"'. LS of houses across lake, boat sails past. MS buffalo grazing. Title - 'The Prince arrives at Golden B C - Honours Veterans of the World War'. MS as he walks along with dignitaries and shakes hands with veterans. MS as he walks along under American flag with others. MS as he shakes hands with veterans. Title - 'Arrival of the Prince at Revelstoke, British Columbia'.
    MS as he & entourage come off train. They walk to station building which has dilapidated Western look.

    Title - 'His Royal Highness visits Mount Revelstoke, four thousand feet above the city'. Prince Edward etc. out in nature; on Mount Revelstoke. Prince poses by rock which has plaque on top.

    Title - 'Scenes from the top of Mount Revelstoke'. More shots from mountain - can't see far through the fog. They head back dirt road to car.
    Title - 'Arrival of the Royal party at Kamloops, British Columbia - inspects Veterans and receives Address'. In Kamloops; B.C.; HRH inspects veterans. HRH & several others; including Native American (Indian) man in feather head-dress; standing on platform decorated with Union Jack flag & a big floral display. The group cheering.

    Title - 'Shuswap Indians are received by the Prince'. Prince meets men & women of Shuswap tribe. (Maybe connected to the Salish tribe???)
