  • "One of the crew shouts 'Three cheers for the skipper' and they lift Campbell shoulder high" - Leo Villa is the man that gives the shout, then he and Harry Leech lift Campbell.

    The shots list currently gives the wrong date for this record-breaking run. It actually took place on 22 February 1933. Confirmation of that within this original newspaper story from the era....
