Mrs Arthur Hamilton - the "Channel-Swim Aspirant" is featured.
We see Mrs Hamilton on the steps of a changing booth on wheels. She is dressed in a white floaty frock, high heeled shoes and a hat. She goes inside the booth and emerges in swim wear. We are told via an intertitle that Mrs Hamilton designs her own costumes for the beach. She emerges in another outfit
An intertitle reads: "But, serious swimming means a close fitting costume with no frills to hinder you". We then see Mrs Hamilton running into the sea in a plain black costume. Mrs Hamilton is seen in C/U swimming in a fetching striped cap. She walks out of the sea and runs up the beach. She puts on her coat (which matches the stripy cap). We then see her waving from the doorway of her changing booth. She closes the door.
Nice quirky swimwear Mrs H.!
