    M/S Japanese conscripts in robes line up to enlist. An officer sits at a table set up in a square. M/S men carrying banners on long poles parading through the streets followed by a tram. Children wearing Japanese robes, smile and wave paper Japanese flags. M/S men boarding a train and departing, waved on by the waiting crowd, who wave flags with red spots. M/S crowd in the square and a final shot of people waving flags with red stripes and spot.
