Eric is the musical director of Butlin's Holiday Camp at Clacton - "Stagecoach isn't only Eric's theme tune it is his hobby as well." He walks around the large stagecoach and hands the smaller coaches to the glamour girls. C/Us of Eric showing the showgirls his models. C/Us of the models and of the girls. Pram race - this section of the film is missing - soundtrack exists. L/S of an al fresco limbo competition -wild dancing by girls in frilly bikinis and hula skirts. Closer shot of a girl limbo-ing under a pole, followed by a man wearing baggy stripy trousers. Great limbo music and amusing commentary: "Requirements for the dance are a sense of rhythm, a sense of balance and a pronounced wiggle!" M/S of a family sitting around a table under a parasol. Father tries to get his wife to have a go. She's not keen. C/U of the man as he wiggles under the pole. C/U of some of the spectators - big smiles. M/S of a hula girl going under the pole - the other hula girl moves the pole lower. Stripy trousers has another go - C/Us. Shots of other dancers - chalets and crowds of spectators in the background. Stripy goes out into the crowd to encourage campers to have a go. A man in very baggy shorts is persuaded. As he shimmies under the pole his shorts fall off! Narrator observes: "Oh my word he's done himself an injury - a double fracture of the braces." C/U of a woman laughing. Crazy short haired chick shows us how it is done. Good C/Us. C/U of grinning granny bobbing along to the music and smiling. L/S of the limbo-ists. C/U of young girl clapping her hands to the music. Young boy (about 10) has a go at limbo-ing. Gratuitous C/U of bottom of girl in hula skirt shimmying to the music! Camper in swimsuit has a go as does girl in a bikini top (possibly one of the showgirls seen in the first story) - great C/Us of her going under the pole. Large man is pulled from the audience and ends up falling over. C/U of him gurning and then of him rubbing his backside!
