Introductory intertitle reads: "Everybody is interested in "Bumps" - listen to what Miss Dee has to say about them... and you!" M/S of Miss Gabriel Dee "the well-known astrologer and psychologist" who stands between a seated couple. She tells us that "character and ability show in the head and face". She will demonstrate how with her "two sitters". The man is a famous "brain specialist" and the woman is a well known Australian singer. Unfortunately the name is difficult to make out - Miss Cathleen or Kathleen Lapflower (?).

C/U of the man who makes a joke about his baldness: "I feel my long hair may get in your way." Cathleen pleads: "Now do tell me what you can see for me Miss Dee." Miss Dee quips that she will tell her when they are quite alone. C/U of the brain specialist as Miss Dee places her hands quite forcefully on his head. She points out various parts of the head explaining which emotion is centred in each spot. The brain specialist is very good at keeping still but nearly cracks a smile when Miss Dee points out the part of the head which relates to "mirthfulness".

Cathleen - who is very beautiful - is very amused by all the things Miss Dee has to say. Especially when she predicts that she will make a good wife. On the brain specialist she points out the spot to look out for if you want your potential husband to "come home properly and not be detained at the office." He laughs. Miss Dee points to Cathleen's nose and chin and deduces that she will make a good housewife, look after everything and keeping everything in order. She adds a disclaimer - she won't be as economical as she might. The brain specialist laughs when it is pointed out that he has a big nobble which will prove him to be conceited.

More warnings and predictions are given by Miss Gabriel Dee using the heads of her two friends. She states that Cathleen's bottom lip shows a love for the good things of life and a taste for art and music. Miss Dee shows the audience the bumps which indicate that a man will always be thinking of food. Miss Dee describes the perfect head then warns of facial traits that indicate miserliness and avarice.

She ends her demonstration by saying: "So now we know all about it, and if any of you would be really successful in life you would be well advised to have your bumps read."
