    Full titles read: "BRITISH SUBMARINE DISASTER OFF NORTH WALES"

    L/S's of the submarine the HMS 'Thetis' being launched the previous year. The commentator says that after under going final trials she sunk. L/S's of several warships and vessels circling the spot where she sunk. Good M/S of a lifeboat and crew arriving on the scene.

    L/S's and M/S's of members of the crews family waiting for news on the shore. Aerial shots of the disaster scene, part of the submarine can clearly be seen sticking out of the water. Several more shots of the rescue boats. M/S of a man demonstrating the 'Davis Apparatus' (it's like a lifejacket fitted with oxygen tube and goggles.
