    L/Ss of Queen Elizabeth (later the Queen Mother) with numerous dignitaries at Earls Court British Industries Fair in London. She is wearing a velveteen tailored coat with a silver fox fur. She looks at some large Ostrich feathers from South Africa. L/S of Queen being presented with a bouquet of Orchids which have been flown over from India. Several shots of the Queen watching a fashion display. Young models display the latest fashions in garden party frocks in white lace, a dress with the petticoat two inches lower than the dress and a crinoline wedding dress. Finally the model displays the spectacular 'Razzle Dazzle' evening gown. L/Ss of the models lined up on platform wearing various costumes.

    The "British Industries Fair" reported upon here took place from 20 February to 3 March 1939.
