British camp among ruins - Tommy doing his washing.

British camp among ruins. Pan across mess; all sorts of stuff lying about; piles of rubble; laundry hanging on wire; and a bunch of these big rounded things - half-circles of corrugated metal ? stacked up. Some Brit soldiers walking through. A shack - a man enters it. Snow on ground. Pan on to right, looking out over hills & brush.

CU Laundry in a primitive way: soldier scrubbing something spread out on a board; another guy behind him is shaking a cloth over fire; drying it. Another scene of men doing washing: 1 guy poking stick in steaming pot; other guy again scrubbing. LS ruins - unrecognisable destruction which must have been a town.
