    Film about how brushes are made. Various processes are seen in C/U. Bristle is selected and sorted, smoothed off and sized. C/U of machinery used. "The brush moves up one when we put a handle to its name." C/U of handle being cut from a block of wood. C/U of shaped piece of wood. Machine is used to smooth the handle.

A machine is used to punch holes in a different handle. C/U of a machine inserting bristles into the brush holes. The back of the bristles are varnished and the handle polished.
