    Royal Airforce base at Halton, (not sure which county it's in but possibly Buckinghamshire).

    Full titles read: "BOYS OF THE NEW BRIGADE"

    L/S of the young boys of the New Brigade seated in a classroom. The commentator says that they learning "all the tricks of the aircraftman's trade at Halton. Here, for three years, these apprentices study the whys and wherefores of aeroplanes and their engines."

    M/S of a mechanic showing the pupils the ins and out of an aeroplane engine. M/S's of the boys being shown several other pieces of mechanical plane equipment including the airscrew reduction gear, and various spark plugs and springs.

    M/S's of the boys erecting the wings onto the fuselage. L/S of contraption called the derrick being used to lift the engine off a biplane on an airfield. L/S's and M/S's of the plane being started by a rotary machine.
