    We see Atrey (Britain) fight Crawford (US) in a Bantam weight fight - Atrey wins on points. Cutaways to servicemen and officers in the audience. Then Simpson (Britain) is beaten by Wichinsky (US) and the Americans in the audience give a big cheer and get all excited. In the last bout, Cummings (Britain) beats Schafer (US) and the British win the match 8 - 6. Brief shot of American officer wiping his eyes. M/S of a group of GIs throwing their caps on the ground.

    My grandad, Sgt Robert L Burry is one of the American boxers. He is standing on the front row, second in from the right. You don't get to see him box unfortunately.

    I'm the daughter of Louis Wichinsky, US, who won the bout against Simpson. It's amazing to see a piece of family folklore captured on film!
