GV. Zoom in, Brian Curvis and Wally Swift moving round the ring in the first round of the Britain welterweight title boxing fight in Nottingham. Swift is on the left of picture with his initials and a stripe on his shorts. Swift lands a left to Curvis' head. SCU. Promoter Reg King chatting to a friend. GV. The boxers in the ring exchange punches. SV. Swift on the ropes. Curvis moves in and lands two good punches before Swift forces him into a clinch. SCU. Two men in crowd. GV. The third round in progress. Curvis moves into the attack forcing Swift into a corner. Curvis keeps pressing his advantage. Boxers go into a clinch and move round so that Curvis has his back to the ropes. SCU. The boxers' feet. SV. The boxers in a clinch, they break. SV. Swift lands a left to the head. Curvis fights back and drives Swift onto the ropes they clinch. SV. Crowd. GV. The boxers moving round the ring, & SV. SV. Crowd. SV. Curvis having landed a punch to Swift's jaw has his back to camera. Swift goes down to the canvas. Camera pans back to Swift as he raises himself to his knees. The referee begins to count. GV. The referee counting whilst Swift is on the canvas. Swift gets up and Curvis moves in. He throws a left to the body and really starts piling on the pressure, lands a good left to Swift's head and then another. CU. Tommy Farr watching. SV. Curvis chasing Swift around the ring. He lands a left to Swift's head, sends Swift to the canvas for the second time. The referee moves in to push Curvis away and then goes over to start to count. SV. Swift on the canvas while counting is on. He gets to his feet, Curvis moves in. SV. Curvis moves into the attack again. Swift is trying to clinch bur Curvis keeps landing good punches. SCU. Two men watching. GV. The boxes in the ring during the fifteenth round. Swift is trying to fight back but Curvis is punching equally well. They clinch break, Curvis moves into the attack but the bell goes for the end of the fight. Camera zooms out as the boxers walk back to their corners. The referee walks to a neutral corner then raises his arm in the direction of Curvis. He walks over to Curvis and holds his arm aloft announcing him the winner. CU. Man in crowd. SV. Curvis being presented with the Lonsdale belt.
