    No title - Billy Smart's Circus put on charity show for Variety Club children. Clapham Common, London.

    Various shots adults and children queuing up for the circus. M/S clown giving child sweet. Various behind the scenes shots of the performers waiting. M/S as the band walks past. M/S man leading the horses. M/S woman on elephant. L/S big top and circus ring. Various shots band marching and playing as they walk out. M/S performers walking past waving. M/S two Mexicans. M/S clown. M/S zebras, C/U camel's head. M/S animal with very large horns. M/S audience. M/S performers the Caroli Juniors, they are standing on back of two horses, the girls climb up and the men hold them above their heads as the horses parade round. M/S audience watching.

    M/S as boxer Henry Cooper, attached to a harness, runs over to jump on horse's back, he nearly falls off but manages to get on, the horse rides around the ring and he tries to hang on. He eventually falls off and swings around on the harness. M/S audience. M/S 5 elephants lying down in ring. M/S as 5 girls run across them and sit down, the elephants rear up and put their paws on the elephant in front, the girls sit on their backs. C/U two children smiling. M/S of the elephants. C/U boy clapping and smiling. C/U elephant's head. M/S people laid on ground, an elephant with chains round his feet carefully steps between them. M/S as they jump up, they are Johnny Briggs, Bruce Forsyth and others from the Variety Club.

    Various shots Phyllis Allan's Poodles doing their act, dancing about on their hind legs. M/S poodle balancing on a rope, one end of the rope is held by another poodle. M/S as poodle jumps off the rope. M/S pan as three poodles race round the edge of the ring at speed. The two front poodles jump over poodles standing on the edge, the smaller poodle runs in between legs. C/U girl laughing. M/S clowns, one shoots the other and his head falls off then he bows. M/S as they run off.
