  • "Ruined Tower of Memorial Church" - its the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial church (Germanic name is Kaiser Wilhelm Gedachtnis Kirche). The majority of the damage seen was done during an air raid in November 1943.

    "Corner stone of the new church being laid" - this is actually the laying of the foundation stone of the new church, which took place on 9 May 1959.
