Girls from "Puppets" Revue in London walk alongside an open air swimming pool modelling unusual swimsuits. They walk along in a very exaggerated fashion - quite funny. We then see some of the girls sitting on the side of the pool dangling their feet in the water and splashing around. Intertitle reads: "As the Fashion notes say - "Skirts are somewhat short this season, and costumes, generally, are like the ivy - very clinging". The girls pose, swim and dive. C/Us of girls in their outfits. The outfits feature very extravagant swimming hats. Two lines of music with the words "Cig-a-rette! Cig-a-rette!" appear on an Intertitle then we see three of the girls lighting cigarettes and smoking. The girls then sit by the pool drinking tea and eating biscuits.
Safety print exists.
Note: very nice for swimwear fashions - some really funky swim hats! Great shot of three girls lighting cigarettes and smoking.
