Titles read: "Beads from the Sea".

Torre del Greco, near Naples, Italy.

Various shots show the process of making a coral necklace. Coral is gathered and put into bags. When the coating has been removed by workers, a cutter chooses and shapes the pieces of coral to be used. Several shots of men and women using quite primitive tools and machinery to shape the coral. Polished coral beads are threaded together by women sitting around a table; finished necklaces are seen lying on the table.
