    A group of fishermen earn extra money during quiet periods by combing the beach for money and trinkets holidaymakers have left behind.

    M/S of rolling sea and winds, M/S of fishermen turned beachcombers, also known as 'blacksanders', scrutinising the beach for treasures left behind by holidaymakers, they rake through the pebbles with their feet. M/S of a huge wave crashing up and people running out of the way on the promenade. The beachcombers get wet when a wave comes up the beach. M/S as camera pans across them examining their haul, C/U of a number of coins in a man's hand, C/U as one man lights a pipe. Various shots as they continue to look along the beach. M/S of the rolling sea.
