"Plato said that in everything they tried men were better than women but without taking sides we ask is it just coincidence that a man - like sportswear designer Teddy Tinling dictate the trend of women's fashion."

A woman poses for Teddy wearing a strange "baby doll" style short dress with patterned jacket and huge pointed collar. She holds a tennis racquet but I can't imagine anyone playing tennis in this outfit. C/U of Teddy examining the hem of the dress which is trimmed with beads. The narrator observes that the outfit has a pretty taffeta petticoat which keeps the skirt from clinging during play. C/U of the model's feet - she wears pink plimsolls!

Narrator describes how Colonel Tinling put lace round "Gorgeous Gussy's" tennis panties to revolutionise sportswear! Various shots of Teddy and another model who poses wearing a skating outfit. Tinling was described in America as "the guy who makes the sports girl look the way the guys like them to look." C/U of the model's lower torso as she holds out her very short skirt. Over the shoulder shot of Teddy working on a drawing of the outfit. C/U of Teddy smiling at another model. He wears a red cravat and sports a rather rakish moustache. Tennis star Lorna Cornell models a white tennis dress with a red coat "to be worn afterwards". The outfit gives "necessary free movement while its originality raises the morale." C/U of Lorna lifting her skirt to show the candy striped petticoat underneath.

For the girl who prefers less exertion there is an "evening-at-home" or beach outfit. A black sweater with pink "pedal pushers" or Capri pants. The model is Susie Turner. The trousers are called "Fancy Pants" - the camera pans up from her feet to show the whole outfit - inspired by the Matador. Susie sits next to Teddy as the next outfit is displayed - a sensational "South Pacific" sun suit modelled by Marlene Dee.

Marlene poses in her fantastic two piece outfit which consists of a white short skirt and bra top trimmed with cellophane - it really is fabulous! She takes off her matching fringed wrap to show off the top - narrator tries to convince us that this outfit will be worn on British beaches - I doubt it!

C/U of Marlene's feet as she stands on tiptoe posing. Around one ankle she wears a flower anklet. C/U of the outfit. Camera tilts up to show the bra top and beaming face of the model - gorgeous!
