    Paris, France.

    Fight for the World Featherweight Title between Hogan Bassey of Nigeria and Cherif Hamia of France in progress. SV. Hogan Bassey and Cherif Hamia mixing it in the middle of the ring. Bassey goes after Hamia and lands a nice right, followed by a left and then they break. SV. The two boxers in the middle of the ring, Hamia gets in a right and Bassey seems to slip and go down. Referee pushes Hamia away and starts to count. SV. Bassey on his knee, the referee leans over him and counts. Bassey rises and Hamia goes in with a right that misses, Bassey counters with a right. SV. Bassey going after Hamia now, this should be the tenth round. Bassey gets Hamia against the ropes. Various shots of Bassey giving Hamia a terrific hammering until the referee stops the fight. Referee helps Hamia back to his corner. Bassey in his corner, people surround him. Bassey wins the World Featherweight Title.
