Start of the international football match between Scotland and Austria. SV The two captains in centre of field exchanging pennants. GV Massed crowd. STV. Scotland in dark shirts kick off and start a sweeping movement up field, the ball passed on by Reilly to team mate at Hanappi but Reilly continues to w run with ball. Reilly who is now in the Austrian penalty area centres to Robertson who shoots ball in the net. CU Woman in crowd looking disgusted. LV Austria attacking. Ball is passed to Brousek, he passes out to the Austrian right wing Hofbauer who makes a terrific shot at goal which Younger Scotland's goalkeeper dives to save. He falls but quickly picks himself up to clear. CU Austrian man in crowd. SV Reilly running after ball. He is tackled by Barschandt but Reilly manages to centre and the ball is collected by Collins. Ball goes loose so Barschandt runs up and kicks up field. As he does so, he collides with Collins as if to fight each other. Barschandt pushes Collins away. CU Woman in crowd. LV Scotland attacking (lead to Scotland's second goal). Ball is passed out to Liddell, he then runs forward with the ball. TV. Liddell passes to Smith who receives and shoots. The ball hits the cross bar as it enters in. CU Austrian Army officer. LV Scottish players congratulating. SV Crowds and score board. Austria 0 - Scotland 2. GV Massed crowds. LV Austria attacking. The ball goes loose and is chased after by Parker and Probst, this is for lead up to the men colliding. SV Austrian man calling out in crowd. SV Parker now laying injured on the ground but as Docherty and Collins scramble to get the ball from Probst. The ball goes loose as Probst collapses and falls flat on his face. SV Men in crowd shouting. LV Scottish player attending to injured Parker. Pan to trainers and press starting to gather round injured Probst, Excited crowd in background about to swarm on pitch. CU Probst laying injured on ground. SV Police rushing onto ground trying to restore order. GV Hold up of game. Crowds partly running onto ground and protest. They clash with some Scottish players and fighting continues. SV Men and women in crowd shouting. LV Free kick being taken by Schleger, the ball goes straight to the Scottish goal mouth. Younger jumps to save, at the same time Wagner tries to head the ball, but ball goes out of play and Younger falls down injured. CU Woman in crowd. SV Younger being attended by trainer. SV Man in crowd watching. LV Other end, Scotland attacking. The ball is passed by back heeling from Collins to Liddell who receives and shoots to goal. Schmied, the Austrian goalkeeper, collects and clears (this scene to lead up to Scotland's third goal by Liddell). CU Man in crowd. SV Liddell shoots. Goalkeeper dives to save but ball goes into corner of net. Austria 0 Scotland 3. SV Crowd. SV Shot behind Scotland's goal with Austria attacking. The ball is passed out to Probst, he runs forward towards goal and is tackled by Kerr and Probst is brought down giving a free kick to Austria. GV Free kick being taken by Ocwirk but the ball is diverted into the goal by Docherty. The ball then trickles into the net. Score, Austria 1, Scotland 3. SV Excited crowd. SV Other end, Scotland attacking which leads up to Scotland's fourth goal. Ball is passed from Reilly to Liddell who receives, passes back to centre to team mate, who returns to Liddell again. He receives tackled by an Austrian, but kicks to centre and Reilly heads it into goal. Pan as ball goes into net. SV Score board - Austria 1 Scotland 4. SBV. Scottish team mates congratulating.
