"The moustachioed driver (John Bolster?)" - yes, that's John Bolster. His car is an Austin Healey 100-6.
"The man watches a racing driver (Roy Salvadori?)" - yes, that's Roy Salvadori. Salvadori is driving an historic Austin Healey "Frogeye" Sprite, one of the first two Sprites to be registered for the British roads in 1958. (This allows you to reduce this clip's current age range of 1950-59).
