    Note: This clip was previously listed as "German Airship", but it seems to be a French airship, though in a German newsreel. jamied has left a comment identifying the airship as the "Ville de Lucerne".

    The title says "German Airship", but actually it was French, being manufactured by Societe Astra.

    The craft featured is the ASTRA airship called "Ville de Lucerne". We can be sure, therefore, that the location is Lucerne!

    The voiceover says that the year is 1910, which matches the launch date of July 1910 of this particular airship.
