  • Eliminating the cataloguer's doubt, the year in question here is indeed 1930.

    This is the 5th Test of the 1930 Ashes series, and began on 16 August 1930.

    Amongst the England team were Jack Hobbs, Wally Hammond, Herbert Sutcliffe and Harold Larwood.

    Amongst the Australia team were Bill Woodfull and Don Bradman.
