L/S of a group of uniformed soldiers in a field surrounded by tents and army trucks. Staff Sergeant Hague is standing in front of a blackboard which has a diagram pinned to it demonstrating the four stroke cycle of an internal combustion engine, he is pointing at it with a stick. Seven soldiers are sat round on wooden chairs watching. M/S of Hague pointing to the diagrams, there are soldiers working on a Land Rover with its bonnet up in the background M/S of five young soldiers sitting and looking attentive, a big army truck drives past in the background. The narrator says this is an intensive two week training camp for soldiers in the Territorial Army.

C/U of an officer speaking into a field telephone, he finishes and looks up. M/S of an anti-aircraft gun, a soldier is on the back of it and two men are by the side. It is manoeuvred round and an aeroplane flies over the scene. M/S of another anti-aircraft gun trained on an aeroplane. The aeroplane flies over and out across the sea.

L/S of two boys playing catch in front of a caravan, two women are sat leaning against it. Another woman and a little girl walk into the scene, a soldier walks out of the caravan and shuts the door, two other soldiers walk into the scene and walk off with the women and children. Families are welcomed here and can take a holiday while the men train. M/S of them all walking past other caravans together. L/S of the caravan site, there is a blue car parked next to one of the caravans, the group of soldiers and their families walk out of the gate onto the road.

The camera moves over to a blue and red sign saying 'AA Permanent Range & Radar Training Wing - Weybourne' with a crest in the middle.

M/S shot from the top of an anti-aircraft gun, it moves round and we see soldiers at work doing various tasks. L/S of a very fast aeroplane flying in, it speeds past the camera and flies off into the distance. M/S of men on an anti-aircraft gun looking into the distance. L/S of the soldiers and their families walking towards the guns, one soldier is carrying his little girl who waves at the camera.

Two of the soldiers climb onto one of the guns while the children stand round and watch. M/S of two soldiers and some children watching, two boys come forward and climb up onto the gun. They are Stephen and David Hague from Sheffield and one of the men on the gun is their dad Lieutenant Bombardier John Hague.
