    M/S of cars and trucks stuck in the snow. M/S of a car in front of a large snowdrift, M/S as men dig round it. L/S of men with shovels, they have a snowball fight.

    Intertitle - '...mountainous seas sweep the Channel...'

    L/S of the rough seas, various shots as the waves crash about. M/S as it batters the sea wall and splashes over the top. M/S as it covers the promenade.
