Southern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Eire.

Title: "AMERICAN FOOTBALLERS play the Irish Free State Team at Dallymount".

M/S of the American team riding down a suburban street on five horse and carts, the players wave their hats, one man waves a 'Stars and Stripes' flag. M/S of the American football (soccer!) team posing as a group with their manager in front of their national flag. M/S of the American team walking onto the pitch, they are lead by two players - one carries the American flag, one carries the Irish Free State flag. M/S of the team standing on the pitch - looks like they are listening to their National Anthem.

Various L/Ss of the game in action. M/S of a goal attempt, the American goalie leaps for it but it goes over the net. More general shots of the match - the Irish team seem more skilled than the American players.

Animals are often the forgotten army of World War I. They displayed unwavering courage even when exposed to extreme conditions. British Pathé pay tribute to these forgotten warriors.
