    Biggin Hill, Kent.

    Australian Prime Minister Robert Menzies entering hangar at Biggin Hill airfield to name the new Britain's jet bomber 'Canberra'. Guard of Honour lined up on tarmac in background. Plane with British and Australian flags over it. Mr Menzies mounts the dais and starts speaking (natural sound). He names the aircraft and breaks the bottle of champagne against the nose. Canberra being towed out of hangar. Pilot in cockpit. Several shots of Canberra in flight over airfield, Mr Menzies and several dignitaries looking on.

    The naming ceremony took place on 19th January 1951.
