  • Eliminating the current doubt in the date range, what we are seeing here is cars taking part in high-speed runs at Montlhery in October 1955.

Note that "Ferryfield Airport" referred to is what we now know as Lydd Airport, in Kent.

"Raleigh Pathfinder" should read Riley Pathfinder. (Needs changing twice in body text and once in tags).

"Austin Healy" should read Austin-Healey 100. (Needs changing twice in body text, once in tags).

"Montleri (sp?)" should read Montlhery. (That needs changing twice in body text and once in tags).

"Ken Woolton (Warton?)" - it's actually Ken Wharton.

"Austin Westminster" - it's an Austin A90 Westminster.

    "Wolsey 2" - it's actually a Wolseley Six-Ninety.
