"When Theatre audiences vanish for home, the Stars who twinkle in the West (end) begin to enjoy themselves - " M/S of a woman and man standing beside a small indoor fountain. "After all, we must amuse ourselves sometimes" said Miss Ruby Miller as she chased the elusive Tuscan fish with an extra large size in nets." She lifts a fishing net out of the fountain and it appears to have something in the bottom. C/U of a table of four partygoers. One of the woman has a large fan with which she strokes the face of the man sitting next to her. She laughs. "And Leslie (he of the Henson Clan) has unorthodox ways of dealing with cigarettes and Miss Madge Saunders' match." Madge and Leslie sit at a table, Madge wears a sparkly frock, Leslie a black suit and bow tie. He throws cigarettes in the air but doesn't manage to catch them in his mouth. Madge holds out a lighted match, he tries to take it from her but she won't give it to him. "Miss Dorothy Dickson can't help but smile at Leslie's Sallies." C/U of Dorothy laughing. C/U of Madge and Leslie who continue to fool around with the match. Leslie puts the lit match in his mouth, pretends to turn his ear like a handle and the match goes out.
"Gay little chappie" remarked Miss Dorothy Minto about her Mascot. "He loves to spoon with me." C/U of Dorothy pretending to spoon feed a little doll - probably with champagne. "Fred Allandale was telling Miss Gertrude Lawrence quite a lot of funny things about Blackpool" Gertie is laughing at the antics of the two men at her table. They drink wine and smoke. "And Miss Cathleen Nesbitt and Miss Sybil Thorndike don't always believe in Tragedy." M/S of a table of revellers throwing streamers at each other and smoking. (Could be used to illustrate a New Year's Eve celebration) "Leslie Henson and Billy Leonard seemed a bit hazy about the duties of a Chef when they took a hand - " C/U of Billy Leonard dressed in a chef's hat and white overalls. Leslie marches in. They both hold what look like skewers laden with meat, pretending they are rifles. Billy Leonard presents arms as Leslie marches past. The two of them then march past each other as if on sentry duty. They then have a duel. The two of them then pretend that the skewers are pan pipes. It is pretty funny!
