3 unrelated (?) stories; none of which are labelled.

Location of events unknown / unclear.

First; a street scene / arrivals bit - in foreground people getting out of cars; assisted by doorman (this is quite dark). In background a street with other traffic; across street a tavern; Bass Pale Ale painted on windows; many pedestrians on pavement.

Some men in shorts and tank tops; with help from 2 soldiers; launch a canoe on a river in urban area. Holding their long oars; they climb in; push out; float out a bit; start rowing fast.

Here begins a series of shots of a building; both interiors (quite dark) and exteriors. Government building? May be site of some of the World War One Peace talks in Paris. CU looking out of French door windows. Then hallway with pillars; chairs along each side; arched ceiling; chandeliers. Hall of Mirrors at Versailles (?) but it looks a bit small for that. Exterior big white building; with trees in foreground, guard standing at sentry box. Some soldiers (possibly American) approach; pan right as they walk through park.

Lots of curling iron trim on fences etc. Closer shot of building; pan left. Looks very French; official. Dark interior shot room with long circular table; place mats / blotters for writing placed around it; ornate looking mantle at end. (This looks like the Salon d'Horloge a conference room used for the peace talks).

    Various shots of boat race.

Cataloguer's note: none of this seems to relate to Admiral Beatty!
