C/U of an alarm clock balanced on a chair. A woman's arm stretches out from a bed to turn off the alarm. She turns the clock over. M/S of a door opening, a dog being let out and a metal pail (of milk?) being taken in. M/S of a house, door opens and two women (one in trousers, the other in a boiler suit) walk towards the camera. There is a hand painted sign propped up against a tree which reads "Flights 5/-"
Intertitle reads: "In Britain there are only 3 holders of the "B." Flying License, which permits a Pilot to take paying passengers - Miss Pauline Gower is one of them." L/S of their plane which is called "Spartan". The two women pull the wings of the biplane into position. M/Ss of the girls preparing the aircraft for flight. "Engines have to be tested, and minor adjustments made." The girls perform their tests and adjustments then one of them turns the propeller. C/U of Miss Gower in the cockpit. The plane taxis away from the barn in which it has been stored. Miss Spicer watches the plane moving away. A car drives up with two women inside. "And when flight customers arrive, away they go - A new job for Eve has been discovered!" One of the women pays her fare and is given a ticket. Miss Gower helps her into the cockpit. The plane takes off.
