"One day along a country road, our attention was drawn by the sound of feminine laughter. So we stopped - and looked - and listened" reads the first intertitle.

L/S of four girls running hand in hand through a wooden archway with plants growing over it. The girls wear swimsuits. M/S of one girl doing some stretching exercises while the others watch. One holds a dog, another a small bird. M/S - the girls stand in a line, one hand on hip. They then bend to the side in unison. "It was apparently a new idea for keeping fit - and it certainly has its attractions." C/U of the girls' legs as they perform knee lift exercises. They lift, point their legs then lower them. L/S of the girls doing their exercises.

Note: has a "back to nature" feel - girls in the open air in simple outfits doing simple exercises.
