    M/S's and C/U's of Lord Gorell giving speech sitting at ornate desk. He talks about the development of technology over recent years including the radio, the aeroplane, the telephone and the cinema.

    He then asks the question "What are we going to do with all these powers and inventions ?". He continues his talk by warning that people must not abuse the power that they now have. He uses the cinema or "talkies" as an example of how such an invention will be used in years to come. His talk is very school masterly.
