  • The launching seen here took place on 11 June 1930.

    "CPR" on the title card refers to the fact that Empress of Britain was owned and operated by the "Canadian Pacific Railway" Company.

    The first 40 seconds or so of this clip are repeated, (without sound), in clip 767.15.
