Royal (?) yacht coming under open bridge cuts through ribbon. Crowds watch. Shots of King George V and Queen Mary on board with others. King and Queen meet men (workers?) at docks. King and Queen ascend from car or carriage on arrival at an event. Queen with Prince Albert (Duke of York) and Duchess of York (Queen Mother) looking round an exhibition. King and Queen walking with entourage past guard of honour; King cuts a ribbon with some scissors (opening ceremony). Pan across crowds. Royal family in car. L/S of royals arriving at dais. M/S of King making speech; cutaways to crowds watching (1930s). Curtains being lifted to reveal an archway or tunnel entrance. Queen looking on from behind rain-splattered window. Launched ship moving down slipway and into water.

King at sports events. Shaking hands with rugby or football players; watching tennis match with Queen (at Wimbledon?); meeting players at cricket match. Crowds. Royal car arrives at race track (?); King and Queen get out, followed by Duke and Duchess of York. King and Queen on balcony. Horse racing. King meets football players on pitch. Football match. Prime Minister David Lloyd George in crowd, waving hat. Spectators rush on to pitch. King presents trophy cup to winners.
