    Voiceover informs the viewer that Chamberlain has consented to speak to the Nation through the Pathe Gazette while crossing the Channel. This is said over shots of a rather nervy looking Chamberlain standing for the camera.

    The Chancellor speaks: "Once more Great Britain has given a lead to the World." C/U Chamberlain. He continues to speak about the issue of War Conversion loans. Cut to wider shot showing Chamberlain standing next to a set of steps (he is clearly on a ship) next to him is the interviewer from the newsreel who asks a question. Chamberlain replies that the scheme will create great benefits. Nice little interview.
