The game was played on 28 April 1923.
Just visible above the crowd at 00:59 is "Billy" the famous White Horse of Wembley, who dispersed the large crowds that had flooded on to the pitch.
"one holds a giant hammer (quite possibly a smuggled Pathe camera is hidden inside)" - that certainly isn't the camera that Jack Cotter smuggled in to the game, but maybe it is on another clip?
