M/S of Goochi the monkey running across the grass in a garden. L/S of his owner, 11 year old Clive Lloyd, running about with him in the garden. L/S of Clive picking Goochi up and C/U of Clive stroking Goochi who is in his arms. M/S of Goochi jumping over the garden fence and Clive climbing up after him.

M/S of Clive carrying Goochi along to a wooden building in the garden, they enter. The narrator says this is "one of the finest private zoos in the country" and Clive is the curator of it. Interior of the zoo with rows of glass cages and tanks. Clive sits down at a desk and looks at a chart. M/S of Clive writing on the chart, Goochi is on the table with him. The narrator says Clive has been advised by the people at London Zoo so he knows what he is doing. M/S of Clive checking the cages against a chart. C/U of a hamster in a cage. M/S of Clive opening a large jar of food and putting some in the cage. C/U of his hand putting the food in and the hamster eating it. C/U of a very fat hamster in its cage.

M/S of Clive going to another tank and picking up a small terrapin, C/U of Clive's face, C/U of him stroking the terrapin. M/S of him putting the terrapin back in the pond which has a waterfall running into it, another terrapin is sitting on the rocks. M/S of the terrapin swimming about.

M/S of Clive at a big reptile tank, he puts his hand in and picks up a baby alligator. C/U of him stroking the alligator under the chin. C/U of the alligator in the tank. M/S of Clive putting half an orange and a leaf in the reptile tank as food. C/U of green iguanas. C/U of Clive's hand holding a Bush Baby.
