Two horsemen - Wentworth Day tour.

Mersea Island. Essex.

L/S of tent in field. M/S of writer and agriculturalist Wentworth Day frying his breakfast over a fire. He gives some food to the farmer's little daughter. M/S of farmer Rod polishing horse's bridle. The sun breaks through and the two men trot on their horses through water splash. They continue between thatched cottages. M/S of them on a beach, Captain Bill Wyatt hands over oyster to Wentworth who eats it. A land girl drives a tractor and mower through the field. The two men gallop across fields to old 15th century farmhouse with stone bridge over moat. M/S as they are given stirrup cup by the lady of the house. Various shots of the farm. Sheep run about with the horsemen. Various shots of the sunset. Big tractors with shovels on the front cut down trees to make way for new farms to produce food for the war effort. MS of the two men on their horses. M/S of tractor pushing the trees and bushes away.
