London.

A gypsy woman looking into something - crystal ball, presumably. Close up shot of a crystal stone. Succession of close up shots of woman's hands making crystals in the chemical laboratory. She pours various elements into a glass dish, heaths it and places a piece of string around which the elements start to crystallise. Succession of shots of various crystals - voiceover talks about different sorts of crystals and how they are formed.

The strangest crystal of all is the Iceland Spar which enables a person to see double. Several diagrams showing why that happens - as an eye looks through Iceland Spar rhomb, rays multiply as they break inside rhomb and come out as two. Various shots of the 'applied' knowledge - multiplied girls dancing.
