N.B. The attempt to assassinate FDR actually took place in 1933. The shots were fired by Giuseppe Zingara. Although the voiceover describes Cermak as Mayor of Miami - this is not correct. MD - 5/10/00. The President's inauguration also took place in 1933, March 4 to be exact.
